Where in the World???

When I was a kid, I played the "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego" game. I have a lot of people ask me where our coffee beans come from that we roast and deliver to you. Well to answer them and you, I answer this way. All of the coffee beans in the world grow in an area known as the "Coffee Belt", which for the most part, follows the equator in a circle around the globe. To be more specific, areas such as Central Africa, Central America, Northern South America, Parts of Indonesia, some parts of India, as well as Hawaii here in the United States. We at Parker County Coffee, get most of our beans from Central and Northern South America. We also have some Ethiopian coffee, which I will speak of next time on here. The main reason we purchase green coffee from these areas is due to keeping our pricing consistent, as well as the consistency of the beans from year to year. Do you have a favorite bean from a certain growing region? If so, drop us an email and let us know. We'd love to hear from you!
